Christmas Party 2006

Back to Events Archives

MKCMA Christmas party was held on 16th December 2006 at the Denbigh club in West Bletchley.

The Christmas party was held at the Denbigh Hall, West Bletchley on 16th December 2006.  We had a fantastic turn out of over a hundred people with local childminders bringing along their friends, family and childminding families.  The evening started with some music to keep the children busy, whilst all our guests arrived and settled in.  The buffet was opened at 5.00pm and went down a storm with both adults and children enjoying the variety of sweet and savoury delights available including some vegetarian options.  After the buffet we had a special festive visit

for the children from Santa who brought each child, no matter how big or small, their very own present.  The music went back on and the disco started giving everyone the opportunity to strut their stuff on the dance floor.  A little later on in the evening to give the adults mainly a bit of a breather we held our festive quiz, testing the knowledge of both old and young with a range

and young    of Christmas themed questions.  It was a close fought battle but eventually a winner was declared answering the tie breaker question.
The raffle was drawn and the fantastic 1st prize of a Spa day for two at Whittlebury Hall worth over 170 was won by probably the youngest person attending two week old George Lambert-Jones who chose the prize for his hardworking mum with a little help from his dad.  The disco started up again for everyone to enjoy and carried on until the last guest left.
